About these terms
These terms apply to your use of pefwil.com (the site), which is run by Pefwil of Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, D11 H602, Ireland. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Our privacy policy and cookie policy explain how we handle personal data and form part of these terms.
Using the site
You may browse the site, read and print pages for your own use, and share links to it. You may not copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the content, use the site to send unsolicited messages, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or do anything that damages it or interferes with other people’s use of it.
Content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, logos, images and code on this site belong to Pefwil or are used with permission. Screenshots of client and partner websites are shown with those businesses’ knowledge and remain their property. The Pefwil name and logo may not be used without our written consent.
Accuracy of information
We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but it is general information, not advice for your specific situation. Prices shown are indicative from-prices, exclude VAT, and are confirmed in a written proposal before any work begins. Figures in case studies and articles are those agreed with the client or clearly labelled as illustrative.
Links to other websites
The site links to client, partner and product websites, and to third-party resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or how they handle your data. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the linked site.
Tools and calculators
Any calculator or estimate tool on the site gives an illustrative result based only on the figures you enter. It is not a forecast, a guarantee of results or financial advice. Make decisions on your own figures and, where appropriate, professional advice.
Liability
We provide the site as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from using the site, relying on its content, or being unable to access it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Irish law. Liability for work we do for clients is governed by the engagement letter for that work, not by these terms.
Working with us
If you become a client, the following basics apply and are set out in full in a written proposal or engagement letter, which takes precedence over this summary:
- Written scope. Every project starts with a written proposal that lists what is included, what is not, the price and the timeline. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it starts.
- Fixed fees. Project work is priced as a fixed fee. Monthly services such as care plans and growth retainers are priced per month.
- No long-term contracts. Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. There is no minimum term beyond the month you are in.
- Prices exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable Irish rate.
- Payment. Project fees are normally split into a deposit and a balance on launch; the proposal states the split. Monthly plans are billed in advance.
- Ownership. On full payment, you own the website, its content and the domain and hosting accounts registered in your name. We may show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
