A working bridge between Ireland and Ghana
Four weeks, fixed fee, one costed plan. We map the market, the steps to register, the partners to talk to and the first ninety days, in whichever direction you are travelling.

Who this is for
Market entry fails on the things nobody wrote down: who you need to know, which steps come in which order, and what the first ninety days really cost. The sprint exists to write those down before you spend on flights, stock or a lease.
- Irish owner-led businesses with a product or service that sells at home and a reason to believe it sells in Ghana: food and drink, hospitality, healthcare services, education, construction supply, professional services.
- Ghanaian founders and established businesses setting up a presence in Ireland, whether a company, a distribution partner or a first sales office.
- Irish-Ghanaian founders who already trade informally across both countries and want a proper structure, a plan and a budget.
- Community organisations and festivals that need an Irish or Ghanaian partner, a web presence and a way to take bookings or donations in both currencies.
Everything in the fixed fee
If it is not on this list, we say so before you sign, not after.
A market read
Who buys what you sell, at what price, through which channels, and who is already selling it. Written from desk research and from calls with people on the ground, with sources listed.
Registration and regulatory steps to check
The sequence of registrations, licences and bank accounts to confirm with a local adviser, in the right order, so you ask the right questions and are not surprised by a missing step.
A partner shortlist
Named distributors, agents, suppliers, community groups and professional advisers worth a conversation, with why each one is on the list and a warm introduction where we have one.
A go-to-market plan
The offer, the price, the first channel, the website or landing page you need, and the message in the words your buyers use.
A costed first ninety days
What to spend, in which month, on what. A budget you can take to a bank, a partner or an Enterprise Ireland adviser without rewriting it.
A written sprint report
Everything above in one document, reviewed with you on a final call, with a decision at the end: go, go with changes, or not yet.
How the project runs
Discovery
Week one. We learn your product, your margins, what you already know about the other market and what you need to be true for the move to work.
Strategy
Week two. Market read, pricing and channel options, and the list of registration and regulatory questions to put to a local adviser. We agree the direction before we build the plan.
Execution
Week three. Partner calls and introductions, the go-to-market plan, the website or landing page brief, and the ninety-day budget.
Optimisation
Week four. The report, the final review call and the go or no-go decision. If it is go, we agree the first ninety days and who does what.
Both directions, one method
An Irish café owner looking at Accra and a Ghanaian founder looking at Dublin have the same problem in mirror image: they know their own market well and the other one through friends, headlines and a few visits. The sprint runs the same four weeks in either direction; only the people we call and the registrations we list change.
We run businesses in both countries ourselves. Come to Ghana is our trip-planning guide to Ghana, Akwaaba.ie is our directory of Ghanaian-owned businesses and community groups across Ireland, and we built the site for the Kwahu Easter Festival on Ghana’s Kwahu Plateau. The Founder Hub and Growth Hub are our programmes for founders building between the two countries. That is the network the partner shortlist comes from.
What we can and cannot do
We are a growth agency, not a law or accountancy firm. The sprint tells you which registrations, licences, tax questions and banking steps to confirm, in what order, and introduces you to advisers in Ghana and Ireland who can confirm them. We do not give legal or tax advice, and we do not quote official fees or processing times as fact; those change and you should hear them from the body that charges them.
What we do well is the commercial side: who buys, what they pay, which partner to trust, what the website needs to say, and what the first three months should cost. We also build the website or landing page when the plan calls for one, usually as a Growth Website priced separately on the pricing page.
- We will say “not yet” if the market read does not support the move. A fixed fee means we have no reason to recommend a launch that will not work.
- Where a figure matters to the budget, the report cites the source or marks it as to be confirmed with the relevant authority.
Proof so far, honestly stated
We do not yet have a written case study for the Ireland–Ghana lane. The live proof is the sites and programmes above, built and run by us across both countries, and the clients on our work page. When the first sprint client agrees to share numbers, that case study will sit here. Until then, the case studies below show how we work with owner-led businesses, not the Ghana route itself.

Questions about market entry ireland–ghana
What does the Market Entry Sprint cost?
A fixed fee from €3,500, excluding VAT, for the four weeks. That covers the market read, the registration and regulatory checklist, the partner shortlist with introductions, the go-to-market plan, the costed ninety-day budget and the final report. Travel, local adviser fees, official registration costs and any website build are separate and are itemised in the budget.
Can you register the company for us?
No. We list the steps and introduce you to a registered agent, accountant or solicitor in the relevant country who does it. We do not give legal or tax advice and we do not want you relying on a growth agency for either. What we do is make sure you arrive at that adviser with the right questions and a plan they can work from.
Which sectors does the sprint suit?
The ones we have worked in: food and drink, hospitality, healthcare and care services, community organisations and events, fashion and retail, and professional services. If your sector depends on heavy regulation we have not worked with, such as pharmaceuticals or financial services, we will say so on the first call rather than take the fee.
Do we need to travel during the sprint?
Not during the four weeks. The calls are online and we use our own network and people on the ground. The ninety-day plan will usually include a first trip, and the report says when it is worth making and who to meet. Our workspace in Dublin 11 is available for in-person sessions if you are in Ireland.
What happens after the sprint?
Three options. You run the ninety-day plan yourself with the report as the guide. You keep us on as a fractional growth advisor to run it with you. Or you ask us to build the website the plan calls for. There is no obligation to continue, and the report is yours either way.
